hey, i am trying to control the "CTLR" key of my laptop, with a pad of a midi controller. sometimes i want to move the track to a certain cue point and keep the track there, just to wait before it has to come in...

u can do that with holding CTLR and then pressing the pad for the specific cuepoint-

is there a way to map the CTRL to an midi note, so i can press two pads, for the same action, like described????

anyone?

i hope u get wot i mean

Go to Preferences, click Controller Assignments

select your midi controller, click new input, ENGINE/CONTROLSTATE/CONTROL
then press LEARN and hit the pad you want to use on your controller and you're good to go.

1 more question:

i managed it to route 2 pads to the up/down arrows to got up and down in my browser, but only in the big right part of my browser, where song, filename, bitrate and that stuff is listed....as it it previous/next item...and i am able to load to the decks via 2 other pad. load deck2/3

but now i am searching for the "control states " of the left/right button of my laptop, to go to the windows tree display, where my crates and playlist are and to toggle back to the file list....

u got me?

so, any help would be nice....
