Hello community. This is my contribution to the cause. I don't believe there is anything out there like this. I came up with the idea for this over the weekend and put it into action. I hope that other people will find it as useful as I will. I am open to ideas and suggestions pertaining to advancing this tool.

M3U Play list Conversion for DJs

As a DJ utilizing MP3s as his primary source medium, you may often find yourself digging through your play lists to create something user-friendly when distributing your mixes. This tool has been created to eliminate your pain and is used to maximize your time.

Of course. Spread it around. I'd like to improve it to the point that it has all of the functionality that any DJ would want.

Very nice. It's the simple things that are the best.

Thanks for the feedback guys. A sticky would make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. :)

If anyone has specific requests with this tool, feel free to send them over to me. I'll see what I can do to add them.

Not so much a request but a question.

I've noticed the few times I have used this tool, that on some of the artist names it seems to crop the first few letters off the name. It doesn't happen to all names in the playlist, but just a few random ones. I've double checked the m3u file in a text editor and the names seems to be there in full.

Not sure why this is. I use Safari on a 10.5.2. Don't know if it would have anything to do with the browser. I wouldn't think so. Might install Firefox and try it there as a test.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Great tool though - very handy. :)

Cheers heaps.
